US Durable Goods Orders

This is a monthly survey done by the US Census Bureau as a measure of the strength of the US economy. A durable good is a product that has a useful life of at least three years but doesn’t include military equipment or airplanes. U.S. Durable Goods Orders were 264541.00 on June 01, 2024. The higher the number (i.e., the more goods purchased), the stronger the economy.
