5-Year Forward Inflation Expectation Rate

The 5-Year forward inflation expectation rate is a measure of expected inflation (on average) over the five-year period that begins five years from today and is calculated using the 5 year and 10-year nominal and inflation adjusted Treasury securities. The 5-year forward breakeven rate is reported daily and was 2.42 on July 26, 2024.
