U.S. Personal Savings Rate

The U.S. personal savings rate is an estimate of what percent of their incomes U.S. households are saving. The personal savings rate is not measured directly but is calculated using disposable personal income (personal income minus payroll and income taxes) and personal savings (disposable income minus personal expenses like housing, food, energy, etc.).
